Prior to your visit, our professionally trained chef, will contact you to understand your likes and expectations and create enticing menus to suit your tastes. We place great importance on using the finest produce and where possible, we use seasonal ingredients sourced from ethical and local suppliers.

Later, you can relax in front of the fire and enjoy your aperitif with a selection of delicious canapés, followed by a fantastic evening dinner. Younger children are not left out; combined with a little magic and some advice from the parents, the chef can plan special menus, ensuring the little ones also enjoy wonderful food.

Whether booking an Ecole du Ski Francais registered ski guide/instructor, or simply advising on the very best areas to ski on your own, this service will give you the opportunity to safely explore the mountains in an organised and hassle free way.

Sitting in the mountains, Le Grand Joux is in a unique position to transport it's guests by private chauffeur driven snowmobiles from the village of Essert Romand. Getting to the slopes can either be via Helicopter from the front door to the top of Avoriaz or by snowmobiles and Land Rover Defenders to any of the lifts within the Morzine, Avoriaz, Grand Terche or Les Gets ski resorts, giving you the opportunity to choose which slopes you ski each day.

Snow Shoeing can be so much fun, and at Le Grand Joux it is no exception. Take a step with us into the quiet wilderness, getting away from the crowded ski slopes and experience spectacular views, frosty vistas and fresh animal tracks on virgin snow. On our Snow Shoe breaks we provide the equipment and the adventure bespoke to your needs. Whatever your level of fitness, enjoy the fresh mountain air of the morning or a moon lit meander in good company and the safe hands of our qualified experienced mountain guide. We combine the snow shoe exercise with a soothing Spa package for 3 nights or 7 nights. Le Grand Joux provides you many exciting opportunities to experience during your stay with us.

You can choose from a number of relaxing and invigorating treatments using the chemical-free, luxuriously effective Sodashi Spa products. You could indulge in the award-winning Alpha Lounger, where you can relax and stimulate your 5 senses.
